Be Anti-Fragile
Not only do Del Mar Team Members anticipate challenges, formulate a plan and take preemptive action in the face of adversity, we resolve problems with creativity and professionalism. Anti-fragility does not just mean being resilient in the face of stress or chaos, but that we process any negative experience in a way that makes us stronger and that we use the lessons learned to improve upon our reactions to the next potential set-back.
Be Reliable, Reliable, Reliable.
Del Mar Team Members guarantee reliable service to Guests and Homeowners, reliable execution of any task we undertake, and reliable support to all of our fellow Teammates.
Think like a Homeowner, think like a Guest, Think Like a Team Member.
We act with care and thoughtfulness throughout our day, and put effort into being present and helpful, always empathetic and understanding when interacting with Homeowners and Guests. We actively put ourselves in their place and imagine what we would feel like if the issue at hand happened in our home or a house that we had rented for a well-deserved vacation. This allows us to provide superior service to all our Homeowners and Guests. This empathy and supportive mind-set carry over to our relationships with our fellow Team Members and are the foundation for the respect and courtesy with which we treat each other.
The Obstacle is the Opportunity
Rather than view obstacles as setbacks, we embrace them! Del Mar Team Members are tasked with seeing obstacles as opportunities to learn. Negative emotions in the face of a challenge may be typical human gut reactions but we work hard to change our perspective. By remaining positive, calm and steady and by taking action in an unflappable way, we try to control situations rather than allowing them to control us. By doing so, we can turn what seem to be insurmountable hurdles into opportunities for professional accomplishment or personal growth, which leads us full circle back to being antifragile at all times.
